Hello,

Name here is Dave. Weather here in Glendale Arizona is a cool 108 degrees. I recently inherited a 21" Professional that had been abused for its entire life. Looked like the oil had never been changed. Changed it, the oil air filter and spark plug. Sharpened the blade. Filled the tank with some gas. Started on one pull today. :) If I could find brand new rubber for her tires she'd look awesome. Any hints or tips would be appreciated as far as where to obtain parts. At this point the only thing I'd change would be the wheels. I have the mag type. Always wanted one of these beasts when I was younger. They might be heavy but they are so cool. Time to cut the grass before it gets hotter.

Hi. My name is Robert Vivenzio and I am a new member . I Iive on the North Shore of Massachusetts and own two Sensations. I grew up in Northern New Jersey and the Sensations were the mowers of choice for commercial landscapers. Up in New England, I found that Bobcats seem to be more prevalent probably due to the number of dealers. I own one mower that I believe to be the last year of production, a 1988 4 HP 21 inch model with a black metal catcher. That mower is in mint condition and has always been serviced professionally and garaged. it is used very infrequently for trim since I have 3.5 acres of land and use a tractor to cut the lawn. The only change that was made was made was a new throttle at the top right of the handle. The dealer replaced it with one that is not an OEM piece but works fine.

I also just picked up a similar model that is roughly the same vintage but I learned from your site that this one has the optional grass level adjustors on all 4 wheels. I am planning to paint the deck using an orange spray paint that is made specifically for my Scag/Giant Vac blower. It appears to be the same color orange as my Sensation.

Does anyone have any other recommendations or tips regarding painting the deck? I would also like to pick up 2 throttles if anyone has them for sale. My new one has a black plastic throttle that is broken but still works.

What model is this.

I pulled this mower out of my dad's lawn shed when we were selling my parents home. I didn't know it was in there and he has now passed away. It appears to have been modified at some point. Probably when the motor failed. He was known for his ingenuity. The deck and handle appear to be original. Does anybody know any thing about it and what it is worth?

What year is my mower?

Hello. I have a 2-Cycle mower (Model 11L2-0) with a Kawasaki KT-43 engine. A local guy has a horizontal KT-43 engine that came off a go cart. Does anyone know if the horizontal engine could be used to swap out mine?

I was excited to see this resource available after researching my 14" Mower I just purchased. I have never heard of Sensation Mowers but I am looking forward to trying to restore this one.

Special Thanks to Rocco. My 14 year old son found a 21 Sensation on the curb and it quickly became a father-son project to get it running again after a 20 year dormancy. With the right guidance and parts from him it was a snap!

Hello Sensation members,

Got a question. I have a green colored 21" Sensation my father bought years ago. Love this mower ! Needing a new blade for it. Where does everyone purchase blades ? 20 3/8 long, 1 1/2 wide with the 3 3/8 holes 1" apart. Any ideas on a possible year or model ? Don't see any tags or numbers on the deck or discharge chute.Thanks

Hi, I've got an 18inch body with the swivel handle. I'd like to get it functional. Could someone point me in the right direction for what's a good engine to use, and where in the heck do I get the right sized blade for it? Thanks very much.
