"Yeah, I was making the bags a year or so ago, They werent too bad, I sold a few in here and I still use one, but I since have moved and don't have the material anymore. I sold it all to Leigh Savoy before I moved with hope that he would make some but he hasn't posted in here for a while. The closest material I could find was from Denver Tent Company. If you want I can send you a free used homemade bag. BTW I also ordered a new bag and bracket and waiting on them, Should be here in a few days."

Rocco - if you have plans could you share them? Or maybe sell them?

I do plan on making some cages eventually and have a few in various stages of completion. As far as plans are concerned well the easiest way is to just reverse engineer an old one. Its just 1/4" cold rolled rod. Cut, bend and weld. The bags themselves aren't easy. I can't reproduce the factory bags. I may have to use another material. Right now I'm focusing on handles. There's a lot of old catchers on the market. Just strip them, weld any breaks, straighten anything out, and paint. I'll get to it sometime. It's the bags themselves that's hard to find. There are aftermarket ones out there. They run close to 200 dollars. These catchers cost 100-150 20 years ago.

Need a grass catcher for a Sensation mower as soon as possible. Are your finds still available? And, how do I get it?

They pop up periodically. Welding up new frames are easy, its reproducing the cloth and plastic that's hard.

New member here. Great site, finally somebody that loves mowers more than I do. Have 4 sensations but also 4 different catchers styles. What was behind the thinking to have the catchers located so far from the discharge chute. I can use new catchers. Rocco, can't you find somebody to make these things for you, everybody with a sensation can probably use at least 1.

I don't know. I never use the T-Bar set-up. If you look at all my mowers I use the bracket that keeps the basket flush. There was a guy a few years ago that made great heavy duty cloth ones. I don't know what happened to him. Hopefully somebody finds this site and does them. I cannot. I just focus on motors.

Hi Rocco,

Do the flush brackets fit all sensations deck casting holes, i have orange and green mowers. If they fit all mowers I'll standardize on them and trash the t-bar set up. Do you sell stuff like brackets wheels etc or just service motors. I'm located in north jersey, 45 miles from the Gap. How far are you from the gap, would like to bring you a motor or two.

Regards,

Gary

I normally just do motors. The flush mount brackets should fit the standard mounting holes. I hate the t-bar set-up. I can point people in the right direction for parts and cut out me as the middleman. I do have some stuff and slowly am working on fabricating stuff.

My mower has the t-bar with basket sticking out the side. I make the "bag" out of window screen (sew vinyl canvas around the edges of the screen)and attach it with plastic wire ties instead of hog rings. They last about 2 years. I see pictures of the basket coming out the rear. I keep poking holes in the screen when I mow too close to a bush. Is the flush mount plate original equipment or homemade design? Anyone have a close up photo of the plate so I can make one?

They are original. They came on the landscaper commercial models. If you look at the pics of the mowers on here, especially mine, you can see that bracket well on all my models. Look at the skunk-works pics. Should be a good view of it in there. Click the titles of each blog post. They opens up and theres tons of pics on here.
