Hello everyone,
I’m new to the site and was hoping to find out more about an Sensation electric wooden deck mower that I pulled out of my barn. This mower has been in the family for at least 50 years.
But anyone that would know anything about its history are no longer with us. The barns is succumbing to many years of neglect and is coming down. So this mower is one of more interesting items that I am in the process of moving to a temporary home until the barn can be replaced. I have moved this around several time to keep it from getting any worse but don’t know much about it. I’m guessing the S/N 14667 may mean that it was made January of 1946 #67 but was hoping someone knew for sure.
Also wanted if it was worth the trouble to restore. The pictures I will upload are just as I pulled it out. I haven’t tried cleaning it up yet or checked out the condition of the electric motor yet. Any input is welcome.
Thanks,

Barn Find
Nice Find!! I really don't know much about them at all.

yeah, it's definitely different. I thought it was home made at first, but than found the Sensation tag and Googled it. It's so ugly I feel kind of sorry for it. So I guess I'll keep it around awhile longer.
Thanks! for the input.

I really focus on the newer stuff, but I'd like to open a section on here for the really old stuff, It's just that I personally don't know enough about them. I hope someone here does and collaborated, I can make an OLD section on here.
The front guard is an item
The front guard is an item that Howard Phelps patented June 13, 1950 Patent #2511124 so it is a little later than 1946 it is an early 50's model.

On second look of the patent it looks like it was filed in June of 1946 so it could be a 46 or very close
