Being the No. 1 restorer and collector of Sensations in the country... I happened upon a Brand New, Original, Un-used, Mint Condition, NOS Sensation Mower from 1974. Never seen gas, grass, or oil.
Rocco-What do you think of the rubber pieces in the front & back ? I assume you cannot mow backwards with those on the mower ? When did Sensation start using those pieces ?
c'mon dude.. I don't sell my mowers. If I did, I wouldn't have a museum. I'm a collector/restorer/customizer. I periodically assemble mowers with parts that don't make the cut and put them on craigslist. They're sold within a day. But they don't look like what you see here. Anyway brody, why you putting your mower on ebay??? You worked so hard on it (and so did i).
I had four and I needed cash so I still have three Very Good working Sensations Of course I still have the one you sold me -the 4 HP engine that I use . I Set the wheels for different heights on all three of the mowers. All The Best.
Maybe you need a washer in between the block an puller. Also it's a high compression motor, I eliminated the compression release from it. It's a beast. Does it run well though?
Yes-it runs nice. Any idea what the best Briggs & Strat engine model is best for a Sensation deck. I have a friend that bought a Sensation on C.list but it needs a new engine. They have what is called a professional model 8.75 Torque. Many other models to choose from. Please advise. THX
Hard to believe that B&S cannot make a good engine any more? An Original 3.5 HP ? What year was it manufactured? Was made just for the Sensation Mower? Can you please send a pic and I will show him. THX
Sry, Just saw this now. (thanks for your email btw). Just look at my services page if you or your friend needs a motor build. It has all the info you need there. I use original parts and will be exactly the same motor that came on these, except brand new!

I believe the early 70's. It's a flip handle mower so it can mow backwards too. I do know of someone that's working on those reproduction parts.

Oh ok, I do the same thing with my 2 mowers that I use regularly. How's that 4hp running? It was a beast if I remember correctly.

Sometimes when pulling the cord-it gets stuck- hard to pull. What would cause that ? Solution? THX

I'm sorry to say but all the new Briggs motors are junk. If he wants I'll ship him an original 3.5hp Sensation spec'd engine.
