Hi there,
I'm new to the list but not new to Sensation Movers....
I grew up cutting my parents lawn with a green and white standard size sensation with a flip handle.
My dad boasts that he was a pioneer in the home landscaping business. In the summer months he carted around two Sensations and several hand tools in his Plymouth station wagon cutting the grass all through our village....then did the graveyard shift at the local Automotive Bearing factory...
He was a hard working dude, trying to keep food on our table.
About 10 years ago I happened upon a very cute miniature version of my beloved childhood lawn mower. After some research it's my understanding that this mower was used for close quarters trimming in cemeteries.
Anyway, I've held this mower for many years thinking I would do a basic restoration and get it back on the grass.....that never happened, and I don't think it ever will. The original motor was locked solid and missing many parts. I ended up removing it and tossing it in the trash....stupid, I know.
Long story short...I now have the mover body up for sale on Ebay if any of you are interested.
Starting bid is $100. I have no idea if that is a fair price or not, but I figured I needed to start somewhere. If it does not sell I'll just keep it with the hopes of one day bringing it back form the dead.
Take a look here if your interested:

Many thanks,
Daniel
Cementary mower body -Did it sell?
I'm curious. My wife would probably want to choke me, but on the other hand, she has a soft spot for "baby" versions of things. Between Rocco & I, we could make it look like mine, see article on front page (currently).
